MC-AL THHN

Available in sizes 6 AWG through 750 kcmil, Encore Wire's Metal-Clad cable conductors are constructed with Compact Stranded Conductors Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series. Sizes 6 AWG through 750 KCMIL contain a green insulated grounding conductor. Larger sizes are supplied with a bare ground conductor. All conductors are cabled together with separator tape containing the ID print legend to form the cable core. Interlocked aluminum armor is applied over the entire assembly.

THHN/THWN SuperSlick® Elite

Available in sizes 14 AWG through 1,000 kcmil. Solid, uncoated copper conductors per ASTM-B3; Stranded, uncoated copper conductors per ASTM-B8 and ASTM-B787. Color-coded PVC, heat and moisture-resistant, flame-retardant compound per UL-83 and UL-1063. Jacket is a tough, polyamide, nylon outer covering per UL-83 and UL-1063.

  • Alternative to eliminate the need for lubricant.
  • Slick nylon outer jacket for easy pulling.
  • All sizes rated gasoline and oil-resistant.

NM-B Building Wire

Solid, 14 AWG to 10 AWG soft, uncoated copper per ASTM-B3; Stranded, 8 AWG conductor and larger uncoated, copper ASTM-B8. Color-coded PVC compound meeting the required thickness of THHN or THWN-2 with a heat-stabilized nylon jacket rated for 90 degrees Celsius in dry locations. Jacket is a 30-mil, color-coded, flame-retardant and moisture-resistant PVC jacket applied over the completed assembly.

Flexcore® THHN

Available in sizes 6 AWG–750 kcmil, Type THW-2/MTW/AWM/TEW. It utilizes ASTM Class I stranding and 24-gauge strands. Flexcore® is a highly flexible conductor intended for applications utilized in raceways for services, feeders and branch-circuit wiring as specified by the NEC. Optimal for data center applications where increased flexibility is desired and reduced bending radii is necessary.
